About This Space
This is a quiet place for readers of The Rules Everyone Else Knew to leave reflections — thoughts, memories, or feelings that surfaced while reading.
There are no accounts, no profiles, no followers. You don't need to sign up or prove who you are. You simply read, feel, and if you wish — share.
Your Privacy
We take your anonymity seriously. Here's what we do and don't collect:
• No account required. You can leave a reflection without providing any personal information.
• Nickname is optional. You can be "Anonymous" or make up any name you like.
• Email is always optional. If you choose to leave one, it's only used to send you a return link to view your own reflections. We will never share it, sell it, or send marketing.
• IP addresses are never stored. We use a one-way hash for rate limiting and duplicate prevention. Your actual IP address is never saved anywhere.
• No tracking or analytics cookies. No third-party scripts. No ads. No pixel trackers.
• No social features. There are no replies between readers, no direct messages, no notifications about other people's activity.
The only things stored are: your reflection text, your optional nickname, your optional email (if you chose to leave one), and a hashed identifier for rate limiting.
Moderation
Reflections are public by default. The author may read what you share. If something is reported by another reader, it is reviewed by a human — never auto-removed. We default to trust.
This space is intended to be gentle. We ask that you respect the vulnerability of others who share here.
